The responsibilities for the position of Water Resources Design Engineer include:
- Collaborating with team members to efficiently deliver successful transportationrelated projects.
- Maintaining steady progress toward developing transportationrelated and water resource engineering abilities.
- Supporting roadway and transit design efforts in accordance with governing design standards.
- Leveraging applicable design software in adherence with Isthmus workflows and agency standards.
- Demonstrating task ownership including documentation and quality reviews within project schedule constraints.
- Evidencing continued commitment to individual company and industry improvement.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree or graduate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
- FE/EIT certification.
- Two or more years of experience in civil transportation engineering (one or more years of experience in urban and rural drainage).
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D HydroCAD HY8 and other related hydrologic/hydraulic analysis modeling ArcGIS and design software.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills:

Compensation and Benefits
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70000$85000/year for a 40hour base work week. Compensation will be based upon experience education skill level and other factors.
