The Child Development Program Assistant will assist both the Lunch Program Coordinator and Child Programming Coordinator by supervising and maintaining the kitchen before during and after lunch service as well as working directly with the afterschool care and summer camp programs. The Program Assistant will engage in some program/activity planning family communication and relationship building with students families and other departments on campus.
This is a 12month yearround position.
Thomas Metcalf School houses learners from preschool through 8th grade.

$17.00 $19.00 per hour
7.5 hours per day with a flexible schedule; typical work hours are 9:15am5:15pm Monday through Friday

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
The final candidate for this position will be required to provide a copy of their valid U.S. drivers license. Human Resources will contact the final candidate at the appropriate time to obtain a copy of this document.
