Role: Administrative Assistant
Salary: 23151.50 per annum prorata
Location: Birmingham
Contract/Hours: Permanent Parttime 27hrs per week working hours are Tues am only and WedFri 95pm

Wherever you work in the Action for Children family youll be helping to change the lives of the most vulnerable children in the UK.
Last year we helped more than 671000 children and families across the UK. From direct work in communities to national campaigning we are focused on making sure every child has a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.
A bit about the Service
During the last year we supported over 500 children. We want someone who is passionate and wants to join us in making a difference by listening to the childs voice first and doing what is right.
We work in partnership with Health Care Education and others including local children centres welfare support and other voluntary organisations.
Our services include child and family health services; parenting programmes and antenatal support; early years education services such as stay and play sessions; speech and language support and family learning.
In Addition we offer support for parents with adult learning and employment support.
A bit about the role
Were seeking an administrative assistant to join our dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact for children young people families and professionals who contact the service so will need to be approachable compassionate and empathetic whether communicating over the phone by email or in person.

We will actively support you in your role and provide you with relevant training development and supervision. This role will be based at Birmingham Community Childrens Centre.
