Job Description

Job Description This is a GRANT FUNDED Program we are able to offer our middle school students this year. Sessions for students going from grade 56 67 78 and 89. Instructors will work closely with the NSS Math Coach to design and deliver standardsbased instruction focusing on priority math concepts essential for success in the next grade level. Sessions will be conducted in small group settings ensuring students receive personalized responsibilities include:Implementing engaging math instruction sessions tailored to students grade priority gradelevel standards to strengthen key mathematical instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning with the NSS Math Coach to align lessons with best instructional student understanding through formative assessments and providing targeted a positive interactive learning environment that encourages student confidence in attendance records and tracking student progress throughout the QualificationsR.I. Certified Teacher (math cert or math concentration preferred) Experience in implementing researchbased Math interventions to students who are below grade level preferredDemonstrated organizational skillsEffective Communication skillsSkills in collection analyzing and using data for instructional planningAbility to navigate the iready/ixl platforms if neededAble to commit all tutoring dates and timesCompensation $45 per hour
