Supervises classroom activities to include laboratory experiences. Implements Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) curriculum in a secondary education setting. Must be licensed as an Instructor/Coordinator and have working knowledge of the following EMS protocols to prepare students for NREMT certification through successful completion of the practical and cognitive EMT certification exams: Abuse/Neglect; Altered Mental Status Apparent LifeThreatening Event; Behavioral Emergencies Cardiac Emergencies; Do Not Resuscitate Environmental Emergencies; Hyperbaric Emergencies Nausea and vomiting; NonTraumatic Shock Obstetrical/Gynecological Emergencies; /Poisoning Pain Management; Respiratory Distress Stroke; Trauma Protocol Airway Management; electrical Therapy Physical and chemical Restraints; Neuroprotective Induced Hypothermia 1 90minute Block Per Day.
