About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the tactical of our technology strategy and elevate our engineering organization as we scale globally. Reporting to the Head of Engineering this is a senior leadership role focused on transforming vision into highimpact delivery through people process and technology.
You ll oversee multiple engineering teams and their managers ensuring that technical excellence speed of and product alignment coexist seamlessly. You ll be instrumental in building out our engineering function not just scaling systems but also shaping the team and culture behind them.
This is a handson leadership role where you ll mentor engineering managers influence architecture decisions and ensure our teams deliver consistently while upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery &
- Translate strategic engineering vision into actionable roadmaps ensuring timely and highquality delivery of products and features.
- Partner with Product Design and other crossfunctional leaders to deliver against business objectives.
- Monitor and drive key engineering KPIs velocity quality and stability.
Team Management & Culture
- Oversee the growth performance and engagement of engineering managers and their teams.
- Champion a diverse inclusive and collaborative engineering culture rooted in accountability and innovation.
- Lead hiring onboarding performance reviews and succession planning in partnership with People Ops.
Technical Leadership
- Support and challenge architectural decisions to ensure scalable secure and reliable solutions.
- Foster robust engineering practices: CI/CD code quality monitoring incident response and documentation.
- Act as a key voice in technical conversations while empowering engineering leads to take ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 8 years of engineering leadership experience including 3 years leading engineering managers.
- Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations within highgrowth SaaS or platformbased businesses.
- Handson technical background with the ability to engage in meaningful architectural and technical discussions.
