This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced professional to join a supportive and ambitious team working with a varied client portfolio and taking on a key role in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage accounts for sole traders and partnerships along with selfassessment tax returns using Iris software from prime records.
Prepare and manage accounts for limited companies including the preparation of corporation tax returns from prime records using Iris software.
Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information to complete accounts and tax returns within deadlines.
Plan lead and complete audit assignments ensuring quality and compliance for Partner review.
Manage internal practice operations such as workinprogress (WIP) control client billing and job scheduling.
Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and deliver additional value.
Work towards achieving both team and individual financial targets.
Uphold high technical and professional standards across all areas of work.
Provide additional support and advice to clients as required.
Coach mentor and support the development of junior team members
Candidate Profile:
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of doubleentry bookkeeping.
Experience preparing accounts from prime records.
Proficient in preparing corporation tax computations and selfassessment returns for a variety of business structures.
Sound understanding of audit procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confident interpersonal and supervisory abilities.
Able to work under pressure manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Work closely with the partners of a wellestablished independent firm

Education
