Job Description
Optometrist Opportunity – Coastal Southern California
A wellestablished optometry practice in coastal Southern California is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join their team. This is a fulltime opportunity in a beautiful location known for its stunning ocean views outdoor lifestyle and mild yearround climate.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat refractive errors (nearsightedness farsightedness astigmatism)
- Prescribe glasses contact lenses and other vision aids
- Manage ocular diseases (glaucoma macular degeneration diabetic retinopathy)
- Educate patients on eye health disease prevention and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records using EHR systems
What We're Looking For
- Doctorate in Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution
- Valid state optometry license
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform thorough eye exams
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare setting
- Commitment to ongoing professional development & education
Preferred Skills
- Experience with a diverse patient population
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to provide highquality care in a fastpaced environment
- Bilingual skills a plus (depending on patient demographics)
- Interest in community outreach and education on eye health
