Academic Year Recruitment Timeline:
April 21 May 9: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)
Early May Mid June: First round video interviews
Mid June Mid July: Second round interviews
Throughout July: Selected candidates receive offers

Time Commitment: 1624 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.
Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Miami FL.

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is a worldclass media company leading the industry in the production and distribution of highquality Spanishlanguage content to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world.
Areas of placement may include but are not limited to:
- Telemundo Business & Legal Affairs: The Business and Legal Affairs Department supports the various business units of Telemundo Media principally in the areas of vendor engagement development production licensing and distribution. The intern position will provide support to various members of the Business and Legal Affairs Department. Under the supervision of an attorney interns will have the opportunity to negotiate draft review and interpret an extensive range of agreements including but not limited to commercial vendor distribution rights acquisition production license and corporate services. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with creating deal summaries and administering daytoday contractual and operational matters including preparation letters and memoranda to internal and external clients presentations as required etc.
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degreegranting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026. December 2025 graduates are not eligible for ourAcademic Year Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above 30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future toretain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 1624 hours per week from September 15 2025 April 17 2026.
Must be willing to work in Miami FL.
For further clarification candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F1 CPT F1 OPT J1 M1 are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an EVerify company requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
Must be a current JD candidate. 2L law student with GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
Strong communication interpersonal writing and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Bilingual; must be able to conduct business in Spanish and English.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Flexible schedule.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Word Power Point and Excel.
The hourly rate for JD student interns is $25.00.
