Job Description

This Help Desk Technician will provide onsite support in our Houston TX office Monday Friday 9:00am 5:00pm. Additionally you provided remote support to our branches in North Carolina and New Jersey and other remote users.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide support for all IT products and services which may include answering questions troubleshooting problems and instructing customers regarding software or hardware
  • Answer IT tickets in a timely manner
  • Prepare and ship applicable equipment to new hires

 


Qualifications :

Required Education and Experience:

  • Recent college graduate with a degree in Computer Information Science or 12 years of experience in a Helpdesk Support position
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and nontechnical communication skills
  • Local and remote enduser system troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Desktop/Workstation Operating Systems
  • Office 365
  • Exchange Online
  • Office desktop application suite
  • Outlook Word Excel etc.
  • Some knowledge of installation configuration reimaging and support of computer systems hardware and software.  Including peripheral devices and accessories
  • Familiarity installing and troubleshooting multifunction printers
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good written oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to handle stress and deliver positive service
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Proactive thinker with attention to details
  • Working outside normal business hours may occasionally be required
  • Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Entra ID Intune
  • General knowledge of OneDrive / SharePoint  Virus/Malware/Spyware diagnostic removal techniques
