Visa is investing in its Global Product Design Team to help support its growing digital product portfolio. Visa Global Product Design is comprised of seven specializations: Product Design Content Design Research Design Engineering Accessibility Design Operations and Design Strategy. Product Design is looking for a Design Manager to join our team.

In this role you will manage a team and model excellent UX principles. The Design Manager is a people leader responsible for designing usable accessible and engaging user experiences for Visas digital product line.
Role responsibilities include:
Design usable accessible and engaging digital experiences for the web and mobile
Own and make design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary usercentered design principles
Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
Collaborate with business partners and build upon their vision using sound UX principles
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff
Responsible for the strategic oversight of product lines
Be an advocate for our users
Capture requirements design flows wireframes testable prototypes and fully fleshed out designs
Document your designs and consult with engineers to ensure they are built and function as intended
Effectively demonstrate strong problemsolving skills customer service and interpersonal skills
Essential Functions
Proficiency designing and developing prototypes using Figma
Proficiency designing highfidelity mockups using Figma
Subject Matter Expertise in interaction design
Experience working with SCRUM in an Agile environment a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills including thorough and methodical attention to detail
Fully fluent in English and able to understand and be easily understood in English
Ability to communicate concepts and recommendations confidently to a variety of audiences
Ability to selfmanage time and work independently or as part of a team
An online portfolio that demonstrates outstanding product and ecosystem thinking
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Bachelors Degree in Human Factors Design Psychology Sociology or related field

Additional Information :
Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124700.00 to 180650.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
