Role: Masterdata Specialist
Location: Blackburn BB1 2FA Office Based
Contract: FullTime / Permanent
Salary: Up to 27000 Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Masterdata Specialist to join our finance function at EG Group! As a Masterdata Specialist you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing masterdata within SAP ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and controls. Supporting both finance and operational teams you will process daily requests validate bank details using thirdparty software and extract and analyze financial data from various sources. This fastpaced and forwardthinking role is ideal for someone seeking a longterm career in finance within a growing corporate enterprise. You will be mentored and developed using your initiative to solve problems meet deadlines and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

What youll be doing:
- Processing of change / set up requests in SAP
- Working with third party software to validate bank details
- Extracting of data from Finance systems (ideally SAP).
- Joining data together from different sources to produce meaningful information.
- Analysing data to identify obvious anomalies and be inventive in finding workarounds.
- Monitoring and clearing inbox requests daily
- Checking coding and inputting onto the ERP Systems
- Cooperating with other departments on approvals / requests
- Identifying risks in processes and controls and present them to others together with options to mitigate risks
- Preventing bad / outdated data in ERP system

What were looking for:
- Experience of working in a fast paced / transactional environment (Essential)
- Experience using SAP (Desirable)
- Excel proficient
- Obtained or working towards finance / accounting qualifications and / or experience within a financial setting
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work with others as part of a team
- Results driven with proven record of delivery against KPIs and SLAs
- Well organised with the ability to manage own time and workload
- Able to work with large data sets analysing transactions and understanding the processes and information presented
