Job Description
The Production Supervisor is a fulltime position responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor to ensure all activities comply with safety quality and productivity standards at the GA Telesis Landing Gear Services facility in Medley Florida. This role plays a key part in coordinating personnel optimizing workflows and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise production personnel and shift operations to meet production goals.
- Organize and coordinate workflow to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all production equipment and procedures.
- Identify and report equipment or process issues promptly.
- Train evaluate and support team members to promote growth and accountability.
- Monitor output to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Enforce company policies procedures and all safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Foster a positive teamoriented work culture focused on performance and results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school; or a minimum of four years of related experience/training; or a combination of both.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership organizational and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents procedures and safety regulations.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment; must be able to lift to 75 lbs.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is a plus.
