Duties:
- Lead and Oversee: Manage the entire financial department ensuring the financial health of the organization.
- Financial Accounting Management: Oversee debtors creditors cash book and balance sheet reconciliations maintaining compliance with IFRS standards.
- MonthEnd Reporting: Drive the monthend reporting process including trial balance finalization revenue reconciliations and executive team discussions.
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare and analyse weekly and biweekly cash flow forecasts ensuring liquidity and strategic financial planning.
- Compliance and Internal Control: Uphold local and group policies strengthening the internal control environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of three direct reports fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- At least 8 years in finance with 5 years in a management role.
- Leadership and team management skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Hyperion and SAP experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- IFRS and VAT expertise
