Requisition Summary:

The Lodge Attendant reports directly to the Lodge Managers and works closely with the Executive Chef. The Lodge Attendant is responsible for breakfast service and clean up and assisting the guests during morning departure for their day of fishing.

The Lodge is offgrid and remotely located based in Big Bay BC. Accommodation onsite is available to all staff while onshift and transportation is provided to and from Campbell River for days off. This is fulltime seasonal role for a 5month period. The expected start date is April 14th 2025;and end date September 12th 2025.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide quality housekeeping services to guest rooms and the main Lodge and to assist with food and beverage service at PACCARs expected standards for up to 3 meals a day.
  • Maintain a tidy guest common area daily room refresh for inhouse guests and cleaning and preparing rooms on checkout day for incoming guests.
  • Perform light outside work watering plants and keeping outside guest areas clean.
  • Welcome guests back to the Lodge after a day of fishing and assist them with their gear and coolers etc. as required.
  • Assist with drink service appetizer service and lunch and dinner service. Clean up after meal service is also included in the daily list of duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Ability to work 10hour shifts Monday Friday
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
  • At least 10 years of experience in hospitality industry at food safe level 1
  • Hospitality or culinary certificate preferred
