Patient Care Technician PCT Cardiac Surgery Stepdown
Full Time Night 36 hours
The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU)is a 32bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floortelemetry and intermediate care for acute cardiac vascular and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass Heartmate II or III & Heartware mechanical circulatory support devices valve replacement or repairs Type A & B aortic dissections fempop bypass scalenectomy TAVR heart or lung transplantation.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
- One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum$17.37/hour Maximum$26.13/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
