The Suite Experience Services group is part of the Transformation Management & AI Platform Group one of five groups in the engineering department of SAP Signavio unit. We value consistency modularity & reusability as well as simplicity. Our focus is to create customer facing applications which work across all SAP Signavio products enabling user to execute their business process transformation seamlessly while providing a streamlined user experience.

We collaborate closely with all SAP Signavio Product & Engineering teams to jointly ensure our customer can execute their jobs to be done throughout the entire SAP Signavio Transformation Suite.

The way we work:

You will work closely with a diverse group of people in a feature team including products owners designers frontend and backend engineers. Our teams work selforganized and agile. They are supported by dual leadership of a People Lead with people development and leadership expertise and a Functional Lead with rolespecific expertise. We focus on enabling people and creating the right environment for them to thrive.

What youll do:

• Build and iterate new product functionality which allows users to collaboratively transform their business processes

• Contribute to the entire cycle of product development from first ideas and brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on customer data

• Solve technical challenges of high scope and complexity building cloudnative backends which are used in the entire Signavio Suite

• Work closely with an experienced feature team including products owner architect designer frontend and backend engineers in an agile setup

• Build on a modern cloudnative stack and infrastructure

What you bring:

• BS/MS in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field

• 2 years of experience in software engineering

• Proficient programming skills in Java and a solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms.

• Solid foundation on using relational databases. Existing experience with database schema change management tools like Liquibase or Flyway is a plus.

• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.

• Experience developing and documenting RESTful APIs.

• Experience in writing automated tests.

• Experience in working with containerized applications and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes).

• Foundational knowledge of using and managing infrastructure in a cloud provider (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).

• Motivation to work in an agile environment.

• Proficient English language skills both in written and verbal form.

Nice to have:

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Existing experience with a pipeline orchestrator like Jenkins CircleCI or Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of continuous delivery tools like ArgoCD is a plus.

• Experience with modern cloudnative Java frameworks like Quarkus or Micronaut.
