Flooring InHome Sales Associate: Floor Coverings International of Leesburg VA

The Position As a Floor Coverings International InHome Sales/Design Associate you can help people reimagine and transform their home with the latest flooring trends from the top manufacturers. You will go out on both company and selfgenerated leads to meet with homeowners and assess their flooring needs and wants. Once the goals of the project are understood you will recommend and sell the flooring solution that best fits their needs and their budget. In addition they are good listeners and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Go out to clients homes to provide inhome consultations and quotes for their flooring project
- Use a consultative sales approach (No high pressure sales) measure accurately show flooring samples in the home and help customers reach a solution to meet their goals and budget
- Use our tablet estimating software and keep accurate records in Salesforce regarding followup communication
- Hand off job details to install manager to help jobs go smoothly and conduct postinstallation walkthroughs
- Maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business
- Develop business partner relationships for ongoing business
- Generate leads through networking and prospecting to supplement companyprovided leads
Requirements
- 2 years of inhome sales experience
- Ideal candidates have a track record selling $1 million annually
- Valid U.S. Drivers License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and walk up flights of stairs to customers homes
- Ability to work some weeknights and weekends
- Computer skills and ability to learn our tablet estimating software
Qualifications
- Inhome sales in home remodeling industry flooring experience is preferred

- Time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

- Ability to use competitive drive and determination to meet and exceed sales targets
This is a fulltime Design Associate role in a hybrid work environment. This position requires travel (a company van will be supplied) across our region to complete inhome appointments and provide proposals to customers onsite. The work van provided will carry samples of all flooring products we can order for our customers so they can view the products in their own homes during the appointment.
Pay: Potential earnings are $80000 for the average Design Associate. Aboveaverage Design Associates earn $115000 to $150000.
Territory: Our local office is in Leesburg VA and we primarily serve customers in Leesburg Lansdowne Western Loudoun Berryville Gainesville Chantilly and Centreville.
