About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. The ideal candidate will be passionate about researching documenting technical opportunities and identifying and resolving system issues with a focus on providing analytical and IT/systems support for Operations Customer Service and Manufacturing personnel at high levels of complexity. The Business Process Analyst will partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions. This position will be responsible for supporting sites within the US DC Network and may include direct reports.


This role requires an onsite workmode of 4/5 days in office per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to understand business objectives and translate them into user stories and technological solutions.
  • Drive the identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through the evaluation of realtime data. Perform evaluate and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Translate requirements into Business User Stories with Who What Why acceptance criteria
  • Triage User Issues to provide guidance and resolve issues
  • Analyze business processes and problems and identify prioritize coach and lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing Six Sigma and Lean tools.
  • Perform tasks such as Tracing Requirements to Design creating a Test Script for Requirements and executing System and User Acceptance Testing. Execute software validation and/or qualification protocols and record results.
  • Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to ensure a timely solution
  • Serve as Project Manager for multiple projects simultaneously coordinating with internal and external crossfunctional groups.
  • Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of the problem recommendations for workarounds and defect correction
  • Identify ongoing opportunities and approaches for automating functional business processes. Work with users to recommend improvement programs and process enhancements.
  • Build content and processes to educate the project team on system updates and changes.
  • Drive processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP Manhattan and other supporting systems.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Operations Customer Service Quality Manufacturing and other functions to define and implement endtoend process improvement opportunities.
  • Support the group in resolving system and process issues.
  • Foster a community that shares best practices and drives innovative ideas for further improving our planning solution.
  • Develop execute and document acceptance testing endtoend testing report test results bug reports and drive resolution of defects.
  • Support a work environment of continuous improvement in line with BSCs Quality Policy Quality System and appropriate regulations for the areas supported.


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 8 years of Business Process Analyst or related experience
  • SAP experience in Distribution and Logistics
  • Expert in using the Microsoft suite of tools including Visio
  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Practical experience generating and refining process documentation
  • Experience performing handson enduser support and testing
  • Experience managing projects
  • Ability to travel 1X a quarter to MN

Preferred qualifications:

  • Supply Chain Logistics
  • Manhattan WMOS and SAP S4 HANA/eWM experience
  • Certifications: Scrum Master Certification (CSM) Product Owner Certification (CSPO)Business Analyst Certification
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Selfstarter with a strong proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills

Maximum Salary: $197000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for nonexempt (hourly) nonsales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt nonsales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and longterm incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
