Job Description

Treasury Administrator


Role Description and Duties:

This role is responsible for processing administering and reconciliation of daily bank activity and distribution of bank information to appropriate departments forecasting availability for the electronic transfer from banking of vendor payables/employee payables statutory and salary payments

Daily and weekly:

Download of bank balances and transactions
Process bank transaction for daily processing
Provide accounts receivable with required information
Clear all payments initiated from banks
Load and release electronic transfers
Load and release electronic transfers of vendor/employee payable transactions standing orders and other payments
Bank reconciliations of All Bank Accounts
Prepare and update Cash Flow forecast
Load electronic transfers for release
Review of Bank reconciliations for All Bank Accounts
Monthly:
Bank reconciliations of all bank accounts
Pay card reconciliations
Reconciliation of Business Credit Cards
Ensure that all expenses have been cleared on AP
Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Manager

Other:

Ensure adherence to internal controls
Liaising with revenue authorities across Africa to transfer funds
Issuing and recording of payments for as hoc reimbursements
Maintain and ensure Bank Mandates correctly reflect the current authorities
Prepare and submit documentation for new credit card holders and new bank operators as and when required
Identify process deficiencies and suggest any improvement in consultation with Finance Manager
Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Manager

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:


Formal accounting qualification plus 3 5 years experience
Advance excel skills
Exposure to operating in other African countries (outside SA) advantageous
Ability to deal with senior management and respond to queries accordingly

Flair for business with commercial savvy
Proactive organized and strong personal drive
Adaptable and resourceful in an everchanging environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable systems and processes
Detailed understanding of bank reconciliation process
Sound organizational and timemanagement skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Electronic funds transfer experience
Building and maintaining relationships
