Job Opportunity: Cincinnati Ohio
***$1.50 Shift Differential***
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Shift Lead to join their team. Our client is a regional leader in supply chain solutions for steel products and services that has been around for over 85 years.
The Warehouse Shift Lead will be responsible for facilitating the warehouse function to ensure our client meets or exceeds customers expectations in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company policy.
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
5 years experience in a Steel warehouse setting (including Overhead Crane and Forklift operations).
2 years leading employees.
Excellent organizational math logistical and communication skills.
Knowledge of warehousing material processing and product applications preferred.
Proven ability to lead staff.
Microsoft Works proficient.
Great attendance record.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Trains leads and develops staff to meet company and individual goals.
Verifies all loads for accuracy identification appearance and safety.
Inspects all incoming/outgoing loads for accuracy and reports quantity and condition to Superintendent.
Accurately completes paperwork and documentation necessary to receive ship and stock material.
Coordinates processing schedules for the shift and monitors warehouse physical condition.
Performs other duties as related or assigned to benefit the Company.
Assists Superintendent in maintaining a clean safe warehouse.
Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
