Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $13.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 2030 must be available for at minimum 2to3 hour blocks of time Monday through Friday between 8 am and 6 pm hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Light manual labor in both indoor and outdoor gardening tasks
- Potting plants
- Shoveling dirt into planters
- Watering plants
- Weeding
- Trimming plants
- Assisting with interactive garden programming and activities
Required Competencies
Lift up to 30lbs
Enjoy being outside and planting
Enjoy working with others
Effective communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester - Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
