Description

Be a part of excellence in healthcare and join our team Radiologic Technologist in Winston Salem NC.

What Youll Do:

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.

Assist radiologists and other qualified staff physicians with invasive procedures patient scheduling clerical and image processing functions.

What Is Required:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (or registry eligible and must become registered within 12 months of hire).
  • BLS Provider Certification
  • Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred. One year experience with patients preferred.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Varying hours between 7a and 7pm; Monday through Friday.
  • Location: WinstonSalem NC outpatient facility on the campus of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
  • Bonus: $15000 bonus (paid over two years) for a new hire; $10000 for new graduates
  • Relocation: $3000 relocation bonus paid within 30 days of hire; qualification is based on mileage

SKILLS for SUCCESS:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians nurses and other ancillary professional staff
  • Ability to maintain daily schedules
  • Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
  • Performs effectively with frequent workload changes and competing demands
  • Basic computer skills
