As a Senior Director of Product Management you will lead a dynamic team at the forefront of building and expanding Pures nextgeneration AI and HPC solutions. You will drive the development of cuttingedge products and solutions to meet the growing demands of AIdriven workloads and HighPerformance Computing (HPC) environments addressing a multibillion dollar addressable market.
In this role you will spearhead Pures efforts to define and execute on the next wave of storage innovation for AI and HPC collaborating with leading technology innovators enterprise customers and ecosystem partners worldwide. Your strategic and technical vision will be instrumental in shaping the future of datacentric infrastructure that powers missioncritical AI applications and HPC workloads for global industry leaders.
Youll leverage deep technical expertise and market insights to create actionable engineering requirements guiding the implementation from concept to completion. Working alongside a worldclass engineering team were looking for someone who can merge technical depth with business acumen to act as a transformative force in the AI and HPC markets.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING...
- Manage and mentor a team of highly skilled Product Managers fostering a culture of collaboration continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Develop the strategy and roadmap for AI and HPC solutions ensuring alignment with market needs customer demands and Pures business objectives.
- Drive of this strategy across onpremises hybrid and cloudnative deployments to build a highgrowth business.
- Partner with Product Engineering GotoMarket (GTM) and Finance teams to develop and drive AI and HPCfocused product initiatives.
- Work with Business Unit leadership and Finance to establish growth targets and objectives for AI and HPC solutions.
- Assess the competitive and market landscape for AI and HPC from both technical and business perspectives.
- Anticipate and accurately predict trends to maintain Pures leadership in the market.
- Collaborate with customers partners Sales and Marketing to identify define and articulate winning usecasecentric gotomarket models.
- Gather customer feedback to identify key issues needs and trends ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Conduct market and technology analyses to inform product development and identify new opportunities in AI and HPC.
- Engage with the executive team to establish scope and goals for growth initiatives.
- Serve as a key spokesperson and evangelist for Pure Storages AI and HPC solutions delivering compelling presentations to internal and external audiences.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 10 years of Product Management experience with a focus on enterprise software infrastructure or AIrelated technologies.
- 5 years of experience in leadership managing teams of Product Managers and crossfunctional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude with expertise in AI/Ml technologies architectures and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of AI and HPC ecosystems including knowledge of technologies such as GPU acceleration distributed training parallel file systems and highbandwidth networking (e.g. RDMA InfiniBand).
- Track record of driving innovation and successfully launching complex marketleading products in large enterprise environments.
- Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to identify use cases resolve problems and build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
- Analytical datadriven decisionmaker with a bias for action and .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of delivering concise and persuasive messaging.
- Experience with storage technologies and use cases such as NVMe NFS SMF FCP/iSCSI data pipelines and performance optimization is a plus but not required.
- Experience driving successful field marketing programs and gotomarket strategies.
- Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science Engineering) or equivalent experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- We are primarily an inoffice environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $275000 $414000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
