This is a hybrid role based out ofBurlington MA. Hybrid is 3 days week onsite 2 days week remote.

The SAP HANA Database and Analytics Core engine team is looking for an intermediate or senior developer to contribute to our Knowledge Graph Database System engine development. In this role you will be designing developing features and maintaining our Knowledge Graph engine which runs inside SAP HANA inmemory database. At SAP all members of the engineering team including management are handson and close to the code. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As adeveloper you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to handson coding design and architecture that is best suited for our team size and performance targets.

  • Ability to communicate and guide other teams to construct best possible queries for their needs.
  • Assess new technology tool and infrastructure to keep up with the rapid pace of change.
  • Embrace lean and agile software development principles.
  • Debug troubleshoot and communicate with customers about their issues with their data models and queries.
  • Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent university education in computer science or engineering with 25 years of experience in developing enterprise class software.
  • Expertise in Development with modern C.
  • Knowledge of development of Database Internals like Query Optimizer/Planner Query Executor System Management Transaction Management and/or Persistence.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Graph technologies like RDF/SPARQL.
  • Knowledge of full SDLC and development of tests using Python or other tools.
  • Experience designing and developing wellencapsulated and objectoriented code.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $120800 $253800 (USD) actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skillsexperience scope ofthe role location etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
