About the role

This is a band 3 role with a base salary of $112000 including a 9day fortnight

Are you looking to take your Distribution Overhead Lineworker Live Lineworker or Dual Trade career to the next level Based out of our major depot Cambridge we are looking for exceptional team members to step into a Senior role!

Supporting our distribution overhead teams to ensure the safe efficient and successful delivery of works for TasNetworks; you will provide infield leadership act as a conduit between team members and WGCs/Leaders and coordinate the daily activities of team members.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career with TasNetworks but remain on the tools performing the job you enjoy doing.

About you

The successful candidate will hold all relevant qualifications to their trade (Certificate III in Distribution (Powerlines) or Agrade Linework (with demonstrated experience within the distribution system) and a current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence.

You will have proven experience in leading field teams in the construction and maintenance of overhead distribution powerlines coupled with your ability to coordinate internal and external resources to achieve the desired delivery outcomes.

You will have the ability to participate in the oncall roster for your region (if you wish to) whilst having the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic work environment.

As part of our recruitment process you will be required to pass a medical examination to complete the requirements of these roles in a safe manner.
