What youll do

SAP Design is seeking a passionate and experienced Visual Design Lead/Expert (f/m/d) to join our Web Design System team and help drive the evolution of the SAP Design System. In this role you will spearhead visual design initiatives mentor junior designers and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent highquality user interfaces across all SAP platforms. Your expertise in design language design tokens and system scalability will be instrumental in creating a cohesive and futureready user experience.

• Ensure a consistent and highquality visual language for SAPs design system across all platforms
• Collaborate with product managers developers and stakeholders to integrate the design system into the product lifecycle ensuring alignment with business goals
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers nurturing their professional growth
• Build relationships and work closely with SAPs UX community to scale effective designs across the organization
• Stay current with design trends tools and technologies to enhance the design system and identify opportunities for innovation
• Maintain and evolve design specifications guidelines and tokens ensuring alignment with accessibility usability and branding

What you bring

• Bachelors or Masters in a design field (e.g. Visual Graphic Interface Industrial Media)
• 6 years leading visual design projects for enterprise software ideally in a global setting
• A stunning portfolio showcasing diverse highimpact designs
• Proven expertise in creating scalable design languages aligned with accessibility usability and branding
• Handson experience building robust design systems (components tokens documentation)
• Skilled at guiding projects endtoend mentoring junior talent and collaborating with crossfunctional teams
• Proficient in Figma Adobe Creative Suite and other industrystandard tools
• Very good English skills German skills are beneficial
