As a Sawmill Supervisor youll be working for one of the largest and bestmanaged forestry companies in the world as you apply your skills to our daily manufacturing activities. Canfor is deeply engaged in innovation and technology so you will be utilizing cuttingedge systems for tracking reporting root cause analysis of safety quality cost and result delivery. Youll be responsible for helping to maximize product quality and profits by optimizing production standards and your strong attention to detail will come into play as you prepare budgets manage costs and provide support to various administrative and potentially environmental management activities.

In this dedicated weekend graveyard supervisor role you will:
- Maintain the highest standards with respect to safety at all times leading by example and ensuring the team follows all policies procedures practices and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Address unsafe conditions as required
- Identify opportunities to improve and look for opportunities to reduce cost while safely meeting production targets
- Coach train and support team members to maximize performance
- Foster a culture of open communication with employees in all departments and at all levels
- Engage all employees to provide valuable input into work processes and systems
- Ensure the timely implementation of key Corporate and operational initiatives
For this role come equipped with:
- Excellent communication timemanagement and teambuilding skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Sense of urgency with a willingness to learn
- Familiarity withMinistry of Environment and Worksafe BC regulations would be an asset
- Mobile equipment knowledge would be an asset

The salary range for this position is: $88500.00$110500.00
