Description

MHM Solutions a Centurion company is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the state of Pennsylvania.

We are currently seeking a fulltimeBehavioral Analystto join our team at Office of Developmental Programminglocated in HarrisburgPennsylvania. This employee works for the Harrisburg Office with full time remote work including requirement of one inperson day per month. Travel is required

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week 7.5 hours/day MF

The Behavioral Analyst will receive assignments from and report to the BSASP Director of Clinical Services. Assignments may include the following:

  • Build capacity by collaborating across state systems with other consultants and government agencies about issues with autism and other cooccurring and developmental disabilities.
  • Assist in the assessment of capacity and needs statewide in children and adult service systems.
  • Work with provider agencies to increase internal capacity in Office of Developmental Program (ODP) trainings protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments for highrisk individuals within the state centers state hospitals or other government agencies as needed or requested.
  • Collaboration with other offices and departments related to Positive Behavior Support.
  • Collaborate with the Bureau of Community Services to provide consultation for complex cases as needed or requested.
  • Collaborate with community teams and recommend clinical interventions and strategies for complex cases.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings within ODP and across systems.
  • Conduct clinical and quality reviews of the providers for BSASP programs
  • Conduct yearly quality monitoring on services being provided to AAW and ACAP program participants that include but not limited to a review of the Individual Support Plan Systematic Skill Building Plans (instructional strategies data collection sheets Goal Attainment Scales) Behavior Support Plans Crisis Intervention Plans Functional Behavior Assessment Quarterly Progress Notes for individuals in the Office of Developmental Programs.
  • Monitor quality of Skill Building Plans and Periodic Risk Evaluations.
  • Work with BSASP clinical team to develop and deliver trainings and resources needed for better service delivery to children and adults living with autism
  • Develop and present trainings for monthly capacity building as well as for seminars and conferences as requested.
  • Write and review training materials including manuals online modules elearning materials tools resources and policy.
  • Participate in the development of training protocols and best practice standards for service providers.
  • Review and approve material submitted by providers to become qualified to provide services.
  • Collaborate with BSASP regional representatives on management of caseloads while provided clinical oversight of complex cases for individual with autism
  • Oversee services authorized to adults in the Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) and the Adult Community Autism Program (ACAP) to ensure health safety and welfare.
  • Conduct research and provide consultation on Positive Behavioral Supports best practices to appropriately provide high level clinical consultations to individual with autism across the BSASP programs that have dual diagnoses and complex needs.
  • Review and provide clinical feedback on Individual Support Plans Skill Building Plans Behavior Support/Crisis Intervention Plans to ensure the best practice standards of the BSASP programs are being provided to individuals
  • Conduct data abstraction for the Pennsylvania Autism Surveillance Project (PASP) as requested from the Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator
  • Maintain 100 average on decision to abstract through QAQC process.
  • Maintain 80 average on abstracted elements through QAQC process for children with qualifying triggers.
  • Participate in weekly PASP team calls and monthly CDC calls as scheduled.
  • Attend inperson PASP team meetings as scheduled.
  • Travel onsite for data abstraction as requested.
  • Perform other duties (not outlined above) as assigned

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in psychology education social work or other related field with an emphasis on behavioral supports with a minimum five 5 years in service delivery systems to individuals living with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other cooccurring and developmental disabilities. OR
  • Bachelors degree in psychology education social work or other related field with an emphasis on behavioral supports with a minimum ten 10 years in service delivery systems to individuals living with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other cooccurring and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong computer and technology skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Products Data Visualization Software and other online platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis Positive Behavioral Supports cognitivebehavioral treatment methods mental health theories concepts and methods related to treatment and/or a skill set and experience relevant to the approaches being implemented across all service delivery systems in the Commonwealth for people with autism and other cooccurring and developmental disabilities.
