Department: Fulfillment Large Format Machine Operator
Reports To: Manager
Employee Type: NonExempt FT
Description
Large Format Machine Operators are responsible for the operations of large format press equipment to produce highquality prints and graphics based on client specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and monitor largeformat printing presses to ensure accurate and highquality output
Load and unload printing materials such as rolls of paper vinyl or other substrates into the printing equipment
Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure color accuracy clarity and overall print quality. Adjust settings as needed to meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on the printing equipment including cleaning calibrating and troubleshooting issues that may arise during the printing process
Understand and adjust color profiles to achieve accurate and consistent color reproduction
Set up and configure printing jobs based on job specifications including selecting appropriate media setting printing parameters and ensuring proper alignment
Coordinate and prioritize printing jobs to meet production deadlines
Identify and resolve issues related to printing equipment such as jams misfeeds and print head problems
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Perform other duties as assigned
