Job Description

Overview

BEFORE YOU APPLY:

2. Evenings and Weekends Required
3. Background check and DRUG TEST REQUIRED (You will be drug tested onsite immediately)


This position is providing event security at several of our event venues throughout Milwaukee. Temporary PART TIME WEEKEND WORK HOURS MAY VARY!!

Event Venues Include:

  • The Rave
  • Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO)

Event staff are not eligible for for benefits. All staff are eligible for 401k and Per Mar Perks. Events are usually held on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays with the occasional event in the middle of the week and some weekly events in peak seasons.

*Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Event personnel are responsible for tasks including but not limited to: ticket taking bag checking and ensuring that event goers are adhering to regulations in regard to items allowed at event site ushering and assisting event goers in finding seating maintaining crowd control and reporting potential or existing incidents to proper authorities filing reports of incidents.

  1. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers (including but not limited to: current customers prospective customers clients vendors coworkers supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race color religion gender national origin age disability veteran status sexual orientation and all other protected classes.
  2. Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully ethically honestly and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function.
  3. Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  1. Must have good verbal and written communication
  2. Must have ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  3. Must have ability to deal with problems involving standard situations.
  4. Must be neat and professional in appearance and must adhere to Per Mar dress code policy.
  5. Must have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  6. Must have dependable transportation.
  7. Must enjoy working with the public under potentially adverse conditions.
  8. Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity Communication Excellent Service and Accountability.
  9. Must pass onsite drug test at time of hire


Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED
