Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our growing team! The right candidate has a cando attitude a friendly demeanor and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to lift turn move position and transport residents alone or with assistance.
- Observe residents conditions measuring/recording food/liquid intake and output as well as vital signs then report changes to professional staff as applicable.
- Collect specimens such as urine feces or sputum.
- Must be able to explain medical instructions to residents and family members.
- Work as part of a medical team that examines and provides service to residents.
- Administer medications and treatments such as catheterizations suppositories irrigations enemas massages and s as directed by a physician or nurse.
- Answer residents call lights.
- Provide residents with help walking exercising and moving in and out of bed.
- Must be able to assist residents with baths showers personal grooming feeding and toiletry.
- Transport residents to treatment units using a wheelchair or stretcher.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
- Restrain residents if necessary.
- Prepare serve and collect food trays.
- Clean rooms and change linens as instructed.
- Deliver messages documents and specimens.
- Answer phones and direct visitors as needed.
- Maintain inventory by storing preparing sterilizing and issuing supplies such as dressing packs and treatment trays.
- Perform clerical duties such as processing documents and detailing residents condition.
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating.
Qualifications
Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform jobrelated duties.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day.
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends.
Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or inhome care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
Supportive and compassionate.
High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a CNA or completion of a CNA Program
Licensed to work in the state of Virginia.
Take pride in providing high quality care.
