Job Description:
Seeking a motivated and experienced business development professional with aviation and defense industry experience in commercial and military aircraft missionization and modification. The applicant should have operational knowledge of mission concepts of operations (CONOPS) for DoD CJADC2 and ABMS as well as ISR manned/unmanned aircraft. Furthermore the candidate will support the Reconnaissance Group as a liaison to the 645 AESS and 645 AESG for advancing RC135 fleets and adjacent stakeholders within the intelligence community.
The ideal applicant will be required to gain access and build relationships with key stakeholders to include PEO C3BM PEO ISR/SOF HAF and ACC Airborne ISR directorates Combatant Commands Major Commands Intelligence Community Congress industry partnerships and media & think tanks to gain program political and funding support for the assigned portfolio. Additionally the candidate should demonstrate a wide aperture for strategic movements within the DOD for advancing the CJADC2 concepts by harnessing core L3Harris technologies and programs for horizontal integration.
Due to the nature of the customer and enduser this role requires a polished and seasoned former USAF leader with TS/SCI clearance and ability to qualify for unique special access programs where polygraphs may be required.
This role will perform strategic portfolio shaping take on lead roles during large captures and reports to the ISR Sector Senior Director of Business roll requires active shaping of defense budgets and generation of requirements favorable to ISR portfolio strengths. The role will also be responsible for gaining access to key USG stakeholders in the highest levels of government while leading diverse crossfunctional crossSegment teams in engagement of these key stakeholders.
The candidate should already be familiar with the LHX common capture process (or industry equivalent) to include skills such as competitive intelligence pricetowin and development of detailed win strategies. Certification as an LHX CrossSegment Enterprise Capture Lead is highly desired.
