You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Director Product Engineering (Platform) has responsibility for and leads multidisciplinary software engineering teams that develop the key backend services that provide common technical capabilities to create manage and discover the BBCs content.
This role will lead a large highperforming software engineering team that establishes common service implementation services that can be built to be released consumed observed and scaled. Leading across Product Group and broader to ensure faster time to value is driven for audiences from its digital products.
We are flexible on the location of this role as it is hybrid and could be contracted out of any of our major UK locations (Newcastle/ Manchester/ London or Glasgow would be preferable)
Responsible for leading the engineering teams developing the common capabilities to manage and discover the BBCs content and the core components required to evolve audiences experiences in a scalable and sustainable way.
