Job Description
Mackin Educational Resources is a wellestablished highly respected provider of PK12 grade fiction and nonfiction books located in the South Metro. Our Book Shelving and Order Fulfillment department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.
Responsibilities
Our Book Shelver and Order Fulfillment employees are responsible for accurately scanning and shelving books in our warehouse along with pulling books from our warehouse shelves using pick lists. Employees may be reassigned to alternate tasks special projects and/or departments based on workflow needs.
- Great attention to detail and ability to follow directions are required in order to assure books are placed in the correct order.
- Able to stand walk bend reach and grab repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Able to push / pull roll carts containing books.
- Able to lift boxes full of books.
- Able to read understand and perform written and oral instructions.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Additional Job Requirements (as assigned)
- Capable of following detailed and precise instructions when applying labels and other materials to books.
- Able to remain in a seated position for 60 minutes or longer at a time as needed.
- Able to pack books into boxes.
- Able to complete various stationary or physical tasks as assigned.
Shifts (Seasonal)
- PartTime: 35 days per week 48 hours per day. Shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
- FullTime: Monday through Friday 8hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM
Wages
- $17.75per hour
