About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate BoardCertified Dermatologist to join our clinical research program as a Principal Investigator (PI). The Dermatology PI will play a key role in advancing clinical research conducting clinical trials at Carbon Healths researchenabled sites and supporting our mission to deliver equitable datadriven advancements in dermatologic care.

As part of our team you will oversee clinical research activities at the following location:
Southern California
Your Responsibilities:
Lead clinical trials focused on dermatology (Phase IIV) ensuring adherence to FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
Conduct patient assessments physical exams and other protocolspecific tasks for clinical trial participants.
Oversee subinvestigators and research staff during clinical trial activities.
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to study teams ensuring the quality safety and success of all trials.
Evaluate patient eligibility and assist in reviewing study feasibility and protocol assessments.
Attend site initiation visits and sponsor monitoring visits.
Communicate study details and treatment goals to patients while maintaining strong rapport with participants and sponsors.
Collaborate with internal departments including Regulatory Affairs Clinical Operations and Patient Engagement teams.
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Dermatology with at least 2 years of clinical experience posttraining.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical trial experience including serving as a PI on at least 2 randomized doubleblind therapeutic studies.
Active medical license in the state of the research site with no history of suspension or debarment.
Proven ability to lead clinical teams foster positive relationships with sponsors and deliver highquality results.
Proximity to a research clinic with the flexibility to be onsite regularly.

This is a contingent per diem position classified as independent contractor 1099 and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own taxes benefits and compliance with state licensing requirements.
