Nationwide IT Services NIS is seeking an IT Project Manager for a potential opportunity to support our Navy/MSC Customers.
The scope is to deliver IT Systems Engineering Support Services essential for sustaining
systems engineering personnel processes and products as well as introducing new IT
capabilities and services needed by the Military Sealift Command (MSC) globally.
The IT Project Manager requires DoD experience managing and leading complex ITrelated projects and teams within schedule cost and scope. This position requires expert knowledge of the scope time cost risk quality integration procurement stakeholders human resources and communications management.
The IT PM must have the ability to demonstrate strong problemsolving and analytical skills the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fastpaced environment the ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and seniorlevel IT leaders excellent communications skills and foster open communications on teams.

Responsibilities
- Full life cycle IT project management and/or program management support of a wide variety of DoD projects
- Leading a team: working closely with technical professionals to ensure strict adherence to scope schedule and budget and to ensure successful project
- Regularly interfacing with senior management design engineers customer stakeholders implementation team members vendors and subcontractors
- Managing systems engineering integration or installation projects involving DoD systems
- Initiating planning executing monitoring & controlling & closing projects
- Controlling scope time cost quality risk and issues
- Managing stakeholders expectations and responding to customer feedback
- Leading and directing multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time within budget and scope
- Assessing project health and directing any necessary corrective measures and creatively applying project management processes to address unique situations
- Creating and applying comprehensive project plans; detailed project schedules resource estimates quality requirements and metrics and organizational change management activities
- Defining and documenting project work breakdowns and monitoring project status
- B.S Degree in Computer Science Engineering Math or similar technical background preferred
- Eight 8 years of experience successfully managing and leading the successful realization of complex projects with budgets over $10M
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- U.S. Citizen with current DOD Secret clearance
- Microsoft Serverrelated certifications
- CompTIA Security Certification or higher CompTIA certs
- Microsoft Azurerelated certifications
- Knowledge of Maritime systems or networks especially within the DoD
