In this role youll:
Right now we have an opportunity for a Truck Driver MR General to join us permanent full time in the Road Maintenance Delivery team in Orange NSW.
Youll support delivery of road construction and maintenance activities across the network and report to the Works Supervisor.
You will be required to carry out certain duties including but not limited to:
Competently operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)
To tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
Undertaking general road working labour duties when required

About you
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed high traffic volume environment.
You have sound experience operating medium rigid vehicles safely and experience undertaking physical labouring duties. You will also hold:
White Card
MR Driver Licence (valid and in date)
Traffic control certifications
You take pride in your ability to effectively communicate with other workers and members of public and are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.
You may be required to work outside normal working hours attend after hour callouts and on occasion undertake projects that require travel throughout the state working and camping away at locations away from the base station.
Whilst not essential experience in operating plant (loader bobcat padfoot smooth drum) is desirable.
Lastly you have proven experience operating at a Road Worker Grade 3 level (see position description here.
Wage and Benefits
The wage for this position is WCS Pay Point 5 $ 1254.44 (gross) p.w super allowances.

Whilst this role is based in Orange we also have a depot location in Lithgow. You will be delivering works in the Central West and if you reside within 1hour travel of Orange Bathurst or Lithgow we want to hear from you.
