Design & Engineering

CPP has the largest inhouse design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia with over 150 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary Civil Structural and SCADA disciplines. We provide endtoend engineering solutions for highvoltage infrastructure from nationally significant transmission projects HV substations wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australias renewable energy transition.

Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams ensuring designs are practical constructible and continually refined through realworld feedback. With a commitment to innovation and excellence we deliver solutions that support a stable reliable and sustainable energy future.

The Opportunity

Were looking for a motivated Trainee Electrical Drafter to join our Secondary Engineering Team based in Adelaide.

If you have experience in electrical drafting from another industry and are ready to take the next step in your career this is your opportunity to grow in a supportive and technically challenging environment. Working alongside our experienced Design Drafters and Engineers youll contribute to the creation of detailed designs and drawings for substation infrastructure supportinghigh voltage systems across utility and renewable energy projects.



Skills And Experiences

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Electrical Engineering (Design Drafting) Diploma; Technical Certificate; and/or relevant experience
  • Previous experience working as an electrical drafter is essential
  • Working knowledge ofAutoCAD and/orMicroStation desirable
  • Experience working on utility and/or renewable energy projects is favourable however not essential
