Job Description
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle WA USA
Were looking for a proven Principal Product ManagerTechnical to lead the product vision strategy roadmap innovation and of one or more products that keeps Amazon business compliant with Sanctions law. Our ideal candidate will have a deep product management background experience in owning products with high impact and defining short and longterm product strategy and vision. Our ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen with strategic analytical and critical thinking. Our ideal candidate will drive strategic communications across organizations providing clarity in decisions and understand the product and software life cycle to drive teams towards business solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Own the product management responsibilities for multiple products that have a companywide impact.
Work backwards from the customers and set multiyear product vision.
Establish product strategy goals and investment plans.
Oversee product development including research requirements definition metrics analysis and launch efforts.
Work closely with engineering design Machine learning science and Operations in an agile environment to deliver products to customer
Influence stakeholders and senior leaders through strong written communication skills.
Work crossfunctionally to manage bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs balance the customer needs versus technical constraints.
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet strategic financial and technical goals
A day in the life
Our mission is to prevent sanctioned entities from transacting with Amazon businesses. We build realtime screening platform to detect and prevent prohibited transactions with the sanctioned entities using a complex custom built matching algorithms leveraging AI/ML. We screen over a billion events every day integrate with Tier 1 systems deal with unique scaling challenges and help Amazon stay compliant with sanctions and compliance laws. We have an exciting road map to build AI powered detection and resolution framework to help scale Amazon for years to come.

Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
