Job Description
Job Opportunity: Ravenna Ohio
Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. Our client is an industry leader in the production of fluid system components metal finishing processing and verification testing.
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for visually examining products and materials against blueprints and specifications to identify defects inconsistencies or deviations from standards.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1 years exp. in quality machinery/machine parts inspection. Aerospace inspection is a plus.
Knowledge and ability to read/interpret machine drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use basic inspection gages such as calipers micrometers optical comparators indicators height gages thread gages and others.
Basic Knowledge of gage calibration is a plus.
Basic knowledge of GD & T requirements.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Visually examining products and materials against blueprints and specifications to identify defects inconsistencies or deviations from standards.
Using calipers gauges micrometers and other equipment to accurately measure product dimensions and attributes.
Documenting inspection results including details of defects noncompliance issues and corrective actions taken.
Maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
Ensuring adherence to company quality standards industry regulations and quality management systems.
Verify certification packages to requirements.
