Location: AURORA MN
Employment Type: Fulltime
Position Type: Salary (NonExempt)
Schedule: MondayFriday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the upkeep of our 76unit property in Aurora MN. The ideal candidate will have a background in apartment maintenance and repairs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing electrical systems appliances HVAC units and other mechanical equipment.
- Conduct inspections of units to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and document all maintenance activities accurately.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Keep common areas and grounds clean and wellmaintained.
- Assist with unit turnovers including painting cleaning and other necessary repairs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures including safety protocols and fair housing regulations.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certification in maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work preferably in a residential or multifamily housing setting.
- Knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC and appliance repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
