We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Brantford Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of preventive and corrective maintenance schedule and SAP master data
- Plan and coordinate resources to maximize the efficiency of the Maintenance department. This includes issuing work orders purchasing materials and parts and managing inventory.
- Manage regulatory inspections of equipment.
- Key personnel in the Management of Change process (MOC).
- Work in accordance with Kemira standards and industry best practices including prestart up safety assessments developing safe operating procedures and limits.
- Coordinate and communicate with external contractors and vendors
- Able to respond appropriately and immediately to emergencies
Skills and Education Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three 3 years of combined maintenance and industrial planning experience ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment;
- Bachelors degree in mechanical industrial or chemical engineering. Years of experience related to planning or maintenance can be compensated for the Bachelors degree in Engineering
- High level computer skills Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint SAP AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and organizational skills written and verbal
Shift: Day shift Monday to Friday on call for emergencies
