Various roles are available and is dependent on the candidates prior experience and area of interest. Will determine placement during the prescreening phone interview.
Pharmacy Technician Ladder:
Senior
IV Specialist
IV Chemotherapy Specialist
Additional duties for all roles:
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of two years of college with at least one general mathematics course preferred. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois. Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Must be able to read write and speak English. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to function within the team concept and interact with tact and courtesy with all hospital employees and customers. Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to differentiate colors. Must be able to left at least 10 pounds.
Work Schedule:
May need to cover overnight shift when dedicated overnight technicians have PTO. Shifts are filled with volunteers first and are then assigned by seniority.

Pay Range
$21.00$32.55 HourlyAt Lurie Childrens we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity reflecting individual contributions experience and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
