What youll be doing

The Associate VicePresident (AVP) will oversee the operational resilience business continuity and thirdparty risk management functions at CIBC. This role is critical in ensuring that CIBC and its third parties remain operational resilient can effectively respond to disruptions within CIBCs risk tolerance and CIBC maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. In carrying out this mandate this role will provide leadership oversight and effective challenge in risk management processes tools and programs including internal control reviews to assess operational effectiveness deficiency management and risk monitoring. The AVP works in close partnership with business unit management control groups and peers in Risk Management to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach of delivery and information.
