Job Description
Overview
We are a technology driven firm looking for talented software developers who share our passion for technology. You will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of our technology including developing and optimizing our trading platform utilizing low level technology and network programming finding highvolume dataprocessing solutions for the daily analysis of the firms trading activities across all asset classes and augmenting improving and redesigning software systems that support and monitor our trading activity in realtime. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with highthroughput financial data and have a serious interest in a career in quantitative trading. The role will directly impact the groups trading activities and help drive its revenue. This is an opportunity to work on fun and challenging projects alongside supremely talented programmers and traders on a team with an exceptionally high retention rate.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with C
- Experience operating in a Linux environment
- Experience with optimizing performance processing throughput latency and memory footprint within a complex realtime system
- Familiarity with binary data multithreading realtime and distributed software systems
- Thorough understanding of computer networking protocols and concepts
- Strong programming skills and grasp of concurrent programming patterns and data structures
- Strong communication skills ability to express complex concepts in simple terms verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an open and collaborative environment
- Experience with UNIX utilities and scripting (Python shell etc. experience with a version control system (e.g. Git)
- Experience with time series and relational databases (ClickHouse InfluxDB TimescaleDB MySQL PostgreSQL)
