The Opportunity:
The Fixed Asset Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining Sephoras fixed assets. This position is responsible for assisting with journal entry uploads managing open purchase orders updating and maintaining budgets and supporting the monthly close agenda. Additionally the role involves maintaining the accuracy of the fixed asset register and maintenance of project allocation and location. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills experience with SAP and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of fixed asset processes.
CapEx Fixed Asset Allocation: Provide support in the allocation process 20.
Budget Management: Assist in maintaining the budget and internal orders for capital expenditure requests 15.
Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries to ensure accurate recordkeeping 10.
Business Planning and Analysis: Support and assist with queries related to fixed assets 10.
Procurement Collaboration: Work with the Purchasing team to update PO master data changes and approval workflows 10.
GR/IR Records: Help in clearing aged goods receipt/invoice receipt records 10.
Fixed Asset Register Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the master register and asset location information 15.
Fixed Asset Trackers: Help in maintaining various fixed asset trackers 5.

- 35 year Accounting with solid understanding of US GAAP. IFRS knowledge is desirable.
- 2 yearsFixed Asset Experience
- Strong computer skills especially Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel formulas (VLOOKUP Pivot table etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills able to work within finance and other Business Partners.
- Strong organizational skills attentive to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure and proficiency with SAP/S4 Hana and or/Coupa procurement preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally within a company.
- Ability to pick up responsibilities quickly and work with limited direction.
- Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively to meet tight deadlines.
The annual base salary range for this position is $99790.00 $111530.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the applicants qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate nondiscriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
