Job Description

Job Title: Associate Program Finance

Req Number: 17368

Job Location: Herndon VA

Job Description:

The person in this position will be expected to be open to learning new processes and procedures while mastering and growing their existing skillset. Responsible for maintaining the Earned Value Management data integrity for multiple programs utilizing the Cobra and SAP toolsets including:

    • Forecasting of FPA type of metrics for program performance
    • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual forecasting and variance analysis to financial plan including profitablility and cash flow
    • Creating/ Maintaining/Updating of Projects in SAP
    • Ensuring EAC accuracy for all efforts under responsibility
    • Work with program stakeholders to ensure financial performance is well understood
    • Creation of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) deliverables (Formats 15 7 when required
    • Creation and Review of Variance reports with CAM input
    • Creates and maintains program baseline budgets for performance measurement.
    • Provides support for internal and external audits for assigned programs.
  • Create Ad Hoc analysis as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Finance or relatedanalytical field
  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 02 years of prior related experience.
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel.
  • Strong computer skills
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of government contracts funding profiles sales outlook and variance analysis preferred.
  • Experience with COBRA/SAP
  • Expertise in understanding and using Earned Value Management concepts and processes
