About the role:

Our R&D Labeling Manager will lead a team of Labeling Specialists who will be responsible for executing product literature and labeling deliverables for new product development and sustaining projects within our Electrophysiology division. This role drives innovation to enhance sustainability costefficiency and product protection while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align strategies with business objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to work in a highpaced crossfunctional and collaborative environment.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position which requires work onsite in Mississauga at least 3 days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a group of labeling practitioners to create deliverables that support Regulatory submissions and commercial launch milestones.
  • Representing the Access Solutions labeling team as a core team member in the Global BSC labeling meetings and initiatives.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to understand priorities outline assignments/schedules and identify timelines to meet completion dates and R&D milestones.
  • Develop direct reports and continue to evolve team structure and skillsets by recruiting coaching and training highperforming staff.
  • Monitor daily work operations and provide direction and guidance (technical and professional) to staff to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organization objectives.
  • Interact with all customers by meeting regularly responding to requests and providing project updates.
  • Actively engage as part of the R&D Leadership team on Franchise initiatives and be a voice for the Labeling team.
  • Engage in crossfunctional crosssite and crossteam strategic discussions on how to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
  • Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. with FDA BSI EEO regulations etc..

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree plus 57 years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Minimum 3 years of people management and technical leadership experience
  • Experience interpreting and complying with standards and regulations
  • Ability to lead through change and adapt in a fastpaced environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with product labeling for Class II or Class III medical devices
  • Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Desire to grow and expand responsibilities as a functional manager

Minimum Salary: $79700

Maximum Salary: $158200

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for hourly nonsales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried nonsales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and longterm incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual nondiscretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
