Role of CMA in Dermatology
The Certified Medical Assistant at JHOC Dermatology clinic provides specialty care that includes procedures and responsibilities specific to our patient population. Duties include but are not limited to: preparation and cleanup of skin and nail biopsies tissue handling assisting in Dermatology surgery supply management and realtime documentation.
Outline of Role Progression
Certified Medical Assistant CMA entry level upon hire
Derm Tech Assistant DTA After introductory period 90 days) completion of Derm tech learning modules and attainment of Derm Tech certificate
Certified Derm Tech CDT

Hours:
Four 10hour shifts 7:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m. with Wednesdays off. Onehour lunch.
Interview Process:
Phone screen inperson interview and share time (shadowing).
Salary Range: Minimum$18.15 per hour Maximum$27.65 per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
